Google Rolls Out New Search Console Insights Report

The new Search Console Insights is now built into the primary Search Console interface, replacing the earlier standalone beta version. The update is intended to give content creators, bloggers, and site administrators a more seamless and accessible tool for evaluating site performance.

    Unified Experience

The updated Insights experience strengthens the connection with the Performance report, improving workflow and making it easier to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization. Highlighted features include:

    • Total Clicks and Impressions: View your site’s total search clicks and impressions, with comparisons across different time periods to identify trends.

    • Page Performance: Understand which pages generate the most traffic and identify pages gaining or losing momentum for deeper analysis.

    • Search Queries: Discover the search terms that most often bring users to your site, including trending queries that could inform your future content strategy.

The Achievements feature remains, helping users celebrate milestones like surpassing certain thresholds for total clicks. Notifications will alert users of new accomplishments, and previous milestones will remain accessible through email links or the sidebar navigation in Search Console.

    Availability

The rollout of the improved Insights report will happen in stages. Users who don’t see it yet are advised to check again later. Google encourages ongoing feedback, which can be shared through LinkedIn or the Google Search Central Community.
