Meta rolls out Threads ads globally with expanded formats and enhanced controls
r. With more than 400 million monthly active users, Threads has quickly emerged as a high-growth conversation-driven platform, making it a strong environment for brands seeking more organic and community-focused engagement.
Global rollout of Threads advertising
Threads ads will now be available across all regions, powered by Meta’s AI-based ad delivery infrastructure to maintain the same level of targeting and relevance seen on Facebook and Instagram.
Advertisers can seamlessly extend existing Meta campaigns by enabling Threads placements within both Advantage+ and manually configured campaigns. Supported creative formats currently include single image, video, and carousel ads, all designed to blend naturally into the Threads feed.
The rollout will be phased, with initial impression volume remaining limited as Meta gradually scales global availability.

New capabilities for advertisers on Threads
Meta is also introducing several platform upgrades to improve advertiser experience and brand protection:
Unified account management
Threads profiles can now be managed directly from Business Settings alongside Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp assets. Campaign execution continues through Meta Ads Manager, while organic publishing and cross-posting are supported via Meta Business Suite.
Expanded ad formats
New creative options include 4:5 vertical formats, carousel placements, as well as Advantage+ catalog and app promotion ads.
Third-party brand safety verification
Independent brand safety and suitability measurement, already available across Facebook and Instagram, is now extended to the Threads feed through Meta Business Partners, offering advertisers greater transparency and control.
Meta positions Threads not only as a media distribution channel but as a dynamic community-driven platform where brands can participate in real-time conversations and build more authentic connections with high-intent audiences.
