Meta Rolls Out 4 New Ads Updates: Reels, Catalog Access, CAPI Demo, and Threads Ads
Meta has just announced four new enhancements to its advertising platform, focusing on expanded reach, easier team management, and more creative options. Here's a quick breakdown:
Reels Trending Ads
The company is extending ad placements next to trending Reels, making this option available to a wider pool of advertisers. Businesses interested in leveraging this feature can confirm their eligibility by reaching out to their Meta sales contact.

Automatic Catalog Access
Meta is introducing "Automatic Catalog Access", which grants catalog permissions to all individuals within a business account who previously did not have access. This change simplifies collaboration by enabling more team members to use catalog products in advertising campaigns. Access preferences can still be managed directly within Business Manager.
CAPI Gateway Demo
Advertisers will now have the opportunity to test Conversions API (CAPI) through free, one-click Gateway demos. These demos allow businesses to evaluate the impact of CAPI on campaign optimization and return on investment. Eligible accounts can request access through the "Partner Center" in Meta Business Suite under the "Top Benefits" section.
Threads Ads Enhancements
Meta is also expanding advertising options on Threads. Upcoming updates include support for carousel ads and a 4:5 aspect ratio for single-image and video creatives. Additionally, Meta plans to pilot Advantage+ catalog ads and App ads on the Threads platform.
