New Meta Ads Feature: Enhance Media Text AI to Replace Ad Image Text for Better Engagement

Meta Ads is testing a new AI-powered feature called Enhance Media Text, designed to automatically adjust text that appears within ad creatives. Part of the Advantage+ creative tools, the system analyzes banner text and swaps it with alternative wording that may drive higher interaction—without altering the overall design. For instance, an image saying “Summer Sale” could be rephrased to “Hot Summer Deals” or “Sale Starts Now” if the algorithm predicts stronger engagement.

The technology seems to draw on existing ad copy or advertiser inputs to generate its replacements. At this stage, the tool is still in Beta, with limited information available and no clear examples from Meta. Early indications suggest English is the primary supported language, with possible expansion to Spanish.

Although the feature introduces fresh possibilities for creative optimization, it also raises concerns about transparency. Marketers may be more willing to adopt it if Meta provides visibility into the AI-generated text variations before they go live.
